I am an independent scholar with a background in physics (Ph.D.) and philosophy (B.A.); more on that here. I am also a member of the Baha’i Faith.
This website is the record of a personal journey to answer two questions that I believe are critical to the future of this planet:
- Can science and religion, reason and faith, be reconciled?
- Can the religions of the world be reconciled between themselves?
I believe that the answer to these questions is yes if and only if religion is reconceived from the ground up.
Two kinds of resources are made available here for the assistance of others who are also interested in this journey and the role the Baha’i Faith may play in it:
- Raw materials. This includes a Partial Inventory of the Writings of the Central Figures of the Baha’i Faith containing over 20,000 entries, and a florilegium containing over 5,000 quotations, mostly from the Baha’i Writings.
- Tentative syntheses. I frequently give talks and classes in which these two questions are never far from the center. Naturally, they represent my personal interpretation of the Baha’i teachings. Those talks are listed here.
